We are currently seeking energetic individuals to fulfill the position of Server for the 2026 golf season(late April to October). We will adjust start and end dates for University students.

About the Club and the Food & Beverage Department

The Mad River Golf Club is a highly acclaimed private equity golf club located on Airport Road near the rural community of Creemore, Ontario. The club has 350 Members who all have an associate that are part of their membership. Our members range from ages 6 to 93. Some are retired, some are working and some are somewhere in between. They lives locally or travel from the city on the weekends.

Mad River is a different type of golf club. In keeping with the relaxed ambience and lack of pretense our members expect, we govern ourselves by values rather than rules. These values guide all aspects of the Club's operations

We have a moderate clubhouse that seats just over 100 people, a covered patio that seats 40, a grass patio area that seats 36 as well as our Cupp's Corner concession that offers a variety of beverages, snacks and sandwiches for golfers at the turn. We run weekly member events, tournaments as well as daily and weekly specials. We cater to mainly member only events with the exception of our annual charity events.

Job Summary

Provide Members with a courteous, attentive attitude and create an exceptional experience. Contribute to a positive and fun atmosphere with your team and Members.

Work as a team by helping each other and asking for help while completing all tasks that need to be done. This includes front of the house duties as well as assisting in the kitchen with dishes and condiment preparation.

Clear, wipe down and re-set tables. Polish cutlery, glassware and keep the bar clean, tidy and restocked. Know the menu and specials and be able to suggest items for the Members. The more you know, the more empowered you will be.

Take Members orders, make and serve drinks and serve food in a timely fashion. Do quality checks while removing any unwanted items from the table.

Make sandwiches, serve snacks and drinks in our concession stand, Cupp's Corner. Training will be provided.

Key Qualifications

Loves to work with people, learn new skills and be a team player

Ability to work unsupervised and handle cash

Reliable Transportation (no transit available to the Club)

You have SMART SERVE

You have used a P.O.S., ideally JONAS (training will be provided, if necessary)

Compensation and other Benefits

$17.75-$20 per hour plus gratuities. Paid bi-weekly.
