Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Red Seal Plumber and HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, maintenance, and repair work related to plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and appliance repair, ensuring optimal operation of HVAC equipment across various settings. Candidates should possess excellent mechanical knowledge and the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals. Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in residential, commercial, or industrial environments
• Perform plumbing and welding tasks as needed for system installation or repair
• Conduct boiler maintenance and repairs to ensure efficient operation
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for system installation and troubleshooting
• Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues before they develop into major problems
• Replace or repair faulty components such as motors, fans, compressors, valves, and thermostats
• Assist with appliance repairs related to HVAC systems including air handlers and refrigeration units
• Maintain detailed records of service performed and parts used
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others

Experience

• Proven experience working as an HVAC Technician or Mechanic with a solid understanding of HVAC systems
• Experience with plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and appliance repair
• Mechanical knowledge related to construction sites or maintenance facilities preferred
• Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
• Prior experience with maintenance in residential or commercial settings is advantageous
• Familiarity with construction practices related to plumbing and HVAC installation projects is a plus

This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance and repair work with an emphasis on safety standards. Candidates should be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

Education:

• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

Experience:

• Journeymen: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Red Seal Plumber Journeyman (required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (preferred)
