What is the Opportunity?
Lend At Ease is seeking an Administrative Assistant Intern (Unpaid). We will provide the ideal candidate with great insight into the Mortgage Industry. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals on the topics of:
Understanding various types of mortgages – A, B and private lending
Understanding how to develop key relationships with COI (centres of influence/referral partners, lenders and underwriters)
Understanding how to communicate with clients and meet their needs
Understanding how to Underwrite Mortgage transactions and determining the most suitable product(s) for the client(s) and their situation(s)
You will work in an engaging, respectful and diverse environment, with employees from many backgrounds and cultures. You'll receive supportive coaching from your manager, an assigned mentor, career coaching and support from members of our Leadership team.
What will you do?
Answer general inquiries by phone or email from clients or agents on all shifts
Assist Head Office in ensuring that the whole office is neat and clutter free (client/agent appearance)
Schedule management meetings and being on top of their schedules (reminders) always book on the calendar (always double check with no conflicts)
Managing social media (Facebook, Instagram, Linked In etc)
Assist with Onboarding of new Agents
Maintain and update spreadsheets as necessary
Attend appropriate shifts as scheduled by Management
Other tasks as assigned by Management
The successful candidate will:
Have outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of finance and accounting preferred
Have familiarity with computer applications such as MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
Have the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment
