Astek is currently seeking a Lead Procurement - Indirect for one of its clients, based in Mississauga, ON.
Responsabilities :
Lead sourcing activities and execute procurement strategies (contracting, negotiation, supplier management).
Support stakeholders by translating business needs into sourcing and spend management actions.
Work on category management, operational and strategic sourcing, and content strategy execution.
Partner with global procurement teams to deliver projects and ensure effective governance.
Manage contracts (CDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements) and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Profile :
University degree - business degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in sourcing, contracting, or operational efficiency (pharma experience is an asset).
Knowledge of Clinical Development and/or Clinical Technologies (CROs, IxRS, patient recruitment, imaging, licensing, etc.).
Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
Familiarity with procurement systems and e‑sourcing tools.
Project management skills and fluency in English.

Action‑oriented, capable of influencing and driving decisions.
Strategic thinker with the ability to repurpose knowledge and link insights across the organization.
