As a Junior Financial Analyst with CBRE's Southwestern Ontario Investment Team, you'll be part of a high-performing group known for collaboration, mentorship, and professional growth. Responsibilities include preparing financial models to evaluate various types of real estate investments, conducting research and assisting with the preparation of presentations, analyzing financial data, reviewing and interpreting lease documentation and property-level financials. This role also includes preparing listing documents, tracking sales transactions, preparing proposals, and communication materials. Coordinates the distribution of internal and external marketing information. This role requires external communication with clients and within different departments of the company with emphasis on confidentiality.

What The Jr Financial Analyst Will Do
Assist in the development and detailed modeling of complex real estate transactions.
Draft pitch materials, information memoranda, and PowerPoint presentations.
Research market information and trends; prepare reports and provide support to senior staff in the completion of reports.
Prepare financial models in Argus and Excel used to evaluate all types of real estate investments.
Interact with clients and sales representatives.
Evaluate and analyze a variety of financial results and indicators.
What We're Looking For
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty at the highest level. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university preferably in real estate, finance, business, or accounting; CA, CFA, MBA, AACI would be an asset.
1-2 years relevant industry work experience preferred.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with Argus Enterprise exposure.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to clients.
Ability to effectively present information in written and verbal form to subordinates, clients, and supervisors.
Solid grounding in financial concepts, corporate finance, and valuation is required.
Excellent conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills to solve real estate issues and identify value-added opportunities.
Previous exposure to the commercial real estate industry is an asset.
Knowledge of accounting and/or business law will be considered an asset.

The base salary being offered for this position is $55,000
