Manager Of Resident Experience - Luxury
Reporting to the Manager of Resident Experience - Luxury, the AMRE is responsible for assisting with day-to-day customer service and administration of the residential property on behalf of York Property Management. The Assistant Manager of Resident Experience works collaboratively with the cleaning associates and maintenance technician assigned to their buildings.
Priorities change regularly in this position, and the employee must be flexible and willing to change responsibilities as required.
This role primarily works weekends plus weekday coverage as needed.
Responsibilities
Move Ins, Outs and Unit Turnover
Ensure all Leasing Documents are received and uploaded to property management software, including payment
Meet with new residents to provide keys and complete Move-In Inspections with new residents
Submit Notices to Vacate to Head Office immediately upon receipt and deliver Move Out Instructions to residents
Schedule and conduct Preliminary and Final Move Out Inspections and attach to resident's file
Resident Experience
Provide exceptional customer service by dealing with resident matters as they arise in a professional manner
Ensure the health, comfort and safety of residents
Maintain detailed records of resident interactions / notes in propertyware and upload documents and pictures (where required) in a timely manner
Receive maintenance requests and follow-up with Maintenance Technician regularly to complete requests in a timely manner
Maintain York Cleaning Standards & Inventory Management
Work with maintenance technician to ensure contractors arrive as scheduled
Conduct daily walkthrough of property to ensure proper maintenance
Oversee overall cleanliness of property by monitoring cleaning associate assigned to property
Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment to maintain appropriate stock levels and avoid overstocking
Renting Suites (when advised)
Respond to inquiries from prospective residents in person, via email, and over the phone in a prompt and courteous manner
Schedule and attend appointments to show units and advise current resident (if applicable) of Notice to Enter
Send Rental Applications and submit received completed applications into property management software
Experience & Other Requirements
Excellent customer service and public interaction skills
Ability to use and/or learn how to use new technology
Strong attention to detail and accuracy on documentation
Demonstrated knowledge of Landlord and Tenant Act
Effective verbal and listening communication skills
Time management skills
