POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Cité Rive residence is located in a prestigious setting and an enchanting environment overlooking a beautiful park along the majestic Rivière-des-Prairies. Cité Rive residence offers the best of Montreal living, with easy access to all its services, entertainment options, and resources. We are currently seeking a Server for a permanent part-time position, 25 hours per week, day and evening shifts from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and one weekend out of two.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Advise on the choices offered and recommend alternatives as needed
• Arrange the dining room and ensure the installation
• Identify customer expectations and constraints in order to plan the course of the dining room service
• Perform all other tasks related to his duties
• Present the daily menus, the à la carte menu and answer questions about food and cooking
• Take orders, note specific requests from residents and follow up in the kitchen
• Welcome residents in the room and ensure their comfort

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
• Good team player
• Good communication
• Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
• High school diploma (SSD)
