Job Description Join our team as a Floral Design Associate where your creativity and passion for customer service will shine! In this role, you will assist in creating stunning floral arrangements and ensure our displays are inviting and well-organized. Responsibilities Warmly greet customers and provide outstanding service to meet their needs. Maintain professionalism in all customer interactions, demonstrating tact and courtesy. Assist in designing and crafting floral arrangements that fulfill customer requests. Efficiently package orders to ensure safe delivery to customers. Organize and keep merchandise and supplies in designated areas. Accurately maintain customer records and files. Guide customers in locating and selecting floral items. Promptly handle calls and orders with courtesy. Contribute to the decoration and merchandising efforts of the department. Keep tools, carts, and supplies organized and in their proper locations. Ensure a clean and safe working environment free from clutter. Maintain plants, process flower arrangements, and inflate balloons. Monitor product freshness, quality, and proper signage of merchandise. Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws diligently. Operate the cash register according to company procedures when required. Maintain flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as necessary. Perform job functions effectively with or without accommodations. Qualifications Minimum Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read product labels, signs, and training materials. Skilled in multitasking, setting priorities, and presenting information professionally. Proactive and committed to completing tasks efficiently. Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced setting. Proficient in merchandising, production, and customer service related to floral sales. Comfortable working with various cleaning solutions and using sharp tools safely. Desired Proven record of dependability and integrity in previous roles. Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and safety standards. Experience in grocery retail and customer service. Familiarity with cash register operations and handling cash transactions.
