We're Holmes US - a structural engineering firm that's anything but boring With offices in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, and roots in New Zealand, we're known for taking on projects that make other firms say, "Wait, how did they do that?" Now we're expanding our mass timber capabilities and need someone who lives and breathes innovative timber design to join our growing US team.

Become a recognized expert in mass timber within the firm and profession
You'll Thrive Here If You Have
8+ years of experience, 5+ years of timber engineering experience
PE or P.Eng.,SE preferred
Seismic design experience
Advanced proficiency in ETABS, SAP, equivalent finite element software
Advanced MS Excel and Intermediate MS Word
Knowledge of mass timber systems
A knack for leading teams and mentoring others
Outstanding time management and financial management abilities
Innovative mindset with ability to promote new ideas with sound business potential

Compensation
Estimated starting salary at $160,000 - $205,000 CAD + biannual profit share bonus potential ($120,00 - $150,000 USD)
Salary will be commensurate with experience/skills and location.
