About The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and Professional Fuel Delivery Driver (DZ) to join our team at the Brampton – CN Yard Operation. This position requires flexibility to work a Continental Shift with weekend work, or 4 on 4 off.
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of fuel while upholding a high standard of customer service. Safety is paramount, and we expect our drivers to demonstrate safe driving practices and professional conduct on the roads and when interacting with customers. Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of propane and petroleum products to our customers.
Inventory control of bulk products on trucks.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and accurately complete related documentation.
Provide exceptional customer service and communication to customers, peers, dispatchers and supervisors.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions to meet our customers' needs
Use a handheld computer device to monitor the flow of fuel being input and disposed of from the truck
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum 2-year driving experience with a valid commercial DZ license
Strong interpersonal skills and the desire to be a team player
The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Numeric ability and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work a variety of shifts
This position is physically demanding, involving significant lifting and pulling in an outdoor climate. The successful candidate will be required to successfully pass pre and random drug & alcohol testing and must have a safety and compliance mindset.
