As an Property Accountant you'll play a key role in supporting our financial operations. You will be responsible for assisting with accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, data entry, and administrative support for our property management accounting processes. You'll be part of a fast-paced, high-performing team that supports the financial well-being of our clients and communities.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Run month-end accruals for multiple entities
Run and adjust balances for EFT withdrawal files
Prepare, review and deliver monthly Financial Statements to Community Managers and Clients
Analyze financial reports to ensure completeness, inclusive of providing support for accounting transactions
Review & reconcile past -due outstanding receipts
Prepare bank reconciliations
Follow up on outstanding items including payments, deposits, accounts payable invoices, etc.,
Preparation of daily or monthly journal entries and reconciliations of general ledger accounts
Other duties assigned
Requirements
2+ years accounting experience in Property Management or Full Cycle Accounting required
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
Very detail orientated
A high level of professionalism
Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and customer service skills
Able to work under pressure and meet important external deadlines
Takes initiative and works independently
Ability to function as a team player
Ability to maintain good working relationships with internal and external clients
