Description
MAF3007H: Strategic Business Reporting
This course is designed as equivalency for the Strategic Professional level of study within the ACCA. This course integrates and builds on past coursework to focus on students' ability to make strategic business reporting decisions for a variety of stakeholders. Students are tested on concepts, theories, principles and their ability to apply knowledge to scenarios in a corporate reporting environment. The format of the course will be heavily based on and resemble the structure if the ACCA exam. Credit Value (FCE) 0.50 Scarborough Delivery mode In Class

The following positions for Sessional Instructional Assistants are available in the Department of Management Scarborough for Summer academic session.
This job is posted in accordance with the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement." It is understood that some announcements of vacancies are tentative, pending final course determinations and enrolment.
Summer 2026 Session Dates: May 4, August 31, 2025 or May 4, July 31, 2025
Note: All positions involve completion of all course grading.
Minimum Qualifications
ACCA designation. Experience developing marking rubrics and marking cases. Preference is given to candidates who recently obtained their ACCA designation.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree.

Relevant Criterion
Previous experience is the more relevant criterion than the need to acquire experience in respect of this posted position.
Duties
Prepare marking rubrics, marking and providing detailed comments (both oral and written) to students on case assignments, midterm and final exams, and recording the grades. Provide detailed feedback of student's performance and learning strategies to instructor. Tutorials, responding to students.

Preference in hiring is given to qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III in accordance with Article 14:12 of the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement.
Please note: Undergraduate or graduate students and postdoctoral fellows of the University of Toronto are covered by the CUPE 3902 Unit 1 collective agreement rather than the Unit 3 collective agreement, and should not apply for positions posted under the Unit 3 collective agreement.
