We are hiring Picker/Packers to join our busy warehouse team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves and then carefully packing them for shipment. This position requires speed, accuracy, and a strong commitment to quality. You will be working within a dynamic logistics environment where efficiency and attention to detail are paramount. Your efforts directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our distribution center. Safety is a core value in our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using order sheets or scanners.
- Pack items securely into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Stage packed orders for outgoing carriers.
- Receive and check in incoming stock as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and utilize proper lifting techniques.
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
