We are hiring an energetic Picker/Packer to join our Salt Lake City, Utah warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory to fulfill customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This position is crucial for the efficient operation of our logistics department, requiring precision and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order requirements, utilizing RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details to ensure error-free fulfillment.
- Package orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packing materials.
- Label packages for shipment and stage them for carrier pickup.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and help maintain stock organization.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all Safety procedures.
- Proper use and care of all required PPE .
- Support the overall Logistics and distribution process.
- The role involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order instructions and product information.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to work efficiently and productively in a fast-paced setting.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform lifting duties throughout the shift.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
