We are hiring an Order Picker for our Kansas City, Missouri distribution center. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and that orders are processed quickly and correctly. This position requires individuals who are detail-oriented, energetic, and dedicated to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. You will work as part of a team to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on pick lists or via RF scanner.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Assist in receiving and stocking incoming merchandise.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all Safety guidelines.
- Proper use of all required PPE .
- Support overall warehouse Logistics and operations.
- This role involves repetitive tasks and regular Lifting of items up to 45 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret order instructions and product labels accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Capability to work at a steady pace in a dynamic environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Reliability and punctuality.
