We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Los Angeles, California. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, optimizing workflows, and contributing to the overall success of our logistics department. This is a leadership opportunity for an individual with a strong understanding of warehouse management principles and a proven ability to motivate and guide a team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce all Safety policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety awareness.
- Manage inventory control, including cycle counts and stock adjustments, to maintain accuracy.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to existing staff.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless Logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards.
- Handle any operational issues that arise, resolving them promptly and effectively.
- Must be capable of understanding and demonstrating safe manual handling techniques, including proper Lifting procedures.
- Ensure all team members consistently use designated PPE .
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and Logistics best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Experience with implementing and enforcing Safety protocols.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks as needed, including occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must ensure adherence to PPE requirements for self and team.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
