Become an essential part of our New York City, New York operations as a Warehouse Worker. This versatile role encompasses a range of duties critical to the smooth functioning of our warehouse, from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping. You will contribute to the efficient management of inventory and the timely dispatch of goods. We are dedicated to providing a secure and productive work environment, prioritizing employee well-being through strict adherence to safety guidelines and the mandatory use of PPE . This position is physically demanding, requiring consistent lifting and movement throughout the day. Your contributions are vital to our logistics success.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various warehouse tasks including loading, unloading, stocking, and organizing inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment as required (forklift certification a plus).
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse premises.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Follow all company safety procedures and protocols.
- Ensure proper use of all required PPE .
- Handle products with care to prevent damage.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods. Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate warehouse equipment safely. Strong work ethic and reliability. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all PPE requirements. Understanding of basic logistics and inventory principles. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
