This crucial role involves accurately and efficiently selecting items from our warehouse inventory to fulfill customer orders. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, locating specified products, and preparing them for packing and shipment. A strong emphasis on Safety is expected, and adherence to all company safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The role requires physical stamina, as you will be on your feet for extended periods and will be involved in frequent Lifting of items. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order details.
- Use RF scanners or pick lists to identify and select items.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or designated staging area.
- Ensure the correct quantity and type of items are picked for each order.
- Assist with restocking shelves as needed.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use assigned PPE, such as safety shoes and gloves.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to inventory immediately.
- Meet established productivity targets for order picking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity for frequent Lifting and moving of items, up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices.
- Must be able to wear and utilize required PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
