Join our bustling logistics operation as a Picker/Packer in Raleigh, North Carolina. This vital role is responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders. You will be the cornerstone of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that products are picked from inventory, carefully packed, and prepared for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or RF scanner instructions.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials to ensure product safety during shipping.
- Package items carefully and efficiently, minimizing waste and maximizing protection.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Operate manual and powered equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and contribute to overall warehouse organization.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly around the warehouse.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Capacity for lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Familiarity with RF scanners is a plus.
