We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Clerk to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is fundamental to the accurate tracking and management of our inventory, ensuring that we maintain optimal stock levels and minimize discrepancies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of inventory control principles within a Logistics environment. You will be responsible for conducting regular inventory counts, verifying stock, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inventory records in our system. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Maintaining a safe working environment is a top priority, and all employees are expected to follow Safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE . This role involves a combination of computer work and physical tasks, including Lifting of inventory items, typically up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory counts to verify stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Record inventory data accurately in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or overages to management.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
- Ensure proper organization and labeling of inventory within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and orderly inventory storage area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE .
- Support auditing processes and provide necessary documentation.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related field.
- Proficiency with inventory management software or warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical capability for standing, walking, and occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow Safety guidelines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
