We are hiring a Warehouse Coordinator in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to oversee and manage daily warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, cycle counts, and accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and on time.
- Implement and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
- Train new employees on warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Manage the use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Ensure all team members consistently wear and utilize appropriate PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or coordination role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
