Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Store inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper stock rotation and organization.
- Fulfill customer orders by accurately picking items using scanning equipment or pick lists.
- Package products carefully to ensure safe transit and prevent damage.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging for carrier pickup.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to maintain data integrity.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all company policies.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to team efforts and assist colleagues as needed to meet operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred).
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory tracking software.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Capacity to handle lifting of up to 60 lbs consistently.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and the ability to follow safety procedures.
- Must be willing to wear required PPE, such as safety shoes, vests, and eye protection.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts if required.
