Our Charlotte, North Carolina location is searching for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our expanding logistics team. This role is critical for ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of all outbound products. You will be responsible for preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, verifying shipment contents, and maintaining organized records. Responsibilities:
- Generate, verify, and process all shipping paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Schedule and coordinate pickups with freight carriers, ensuring on-time departures.
- Conduct thorough inspections of outgoing goods to confirm order accuracy and product integrity.
- Maintain comprehensive and orderly shipping records, both manually and electronically.
- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries regarding shipment status from internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to all shipping regulations and company safety protocols, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Operate shipping software and relevant warehouse equipment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a shipping clerk, warehouse, or logistics administrative role preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Capability to perform tasks involving moderate lifting.
- Solid understanding of logistics principles and supply chain operations.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- High school diploma or GED required.
