Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Dallas, Texas? We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to join our logistics team. In this role, you will operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient and safe handling of materials within our warehouse. This position is vital to our day-to-day operations, supporting both receiving and shipping departments. We are committed to providing a safe working environment with all the necessary tools and training.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Store merchandise in designated locations, ensuring proper stacking and organization.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques when not operating machinery.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and warehouse management.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our logistics operations.
This role demands precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. Successful candidates will be proficient in forklift operation and understand the importance of proper lifting techniques and using required PPE.
