Join our growing team as an Order Picker in Virginia Beach, Virginia! We are looking for diligent and reliable individuals to accurately pick and pack customer orders in our fast-paced distribution center. This position is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring that customers receive their orders correctly and on time. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, and possess a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a scanner or pick list.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy against documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing goals.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient logistics environment.
This role involves significant standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift. A strong commitment to safety, including the consistent use of required PPE and employing safe lifting practices, is paramount.
