Are you an efficient and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We are hiring Order Pickers for our facility in Omaha, Nebraska. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your accuracy and speed directly impact our customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. This role requires focus, organization, and a commitment to safety. You'll work in a structured warehouse environment, contributing to the seamless processing of orders. We encourage a proactive approach to maintaining order accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or system data.
- Use RF scanners or other handheld devices to track picked items.
- Verify product information to ensure order accuracy and prevent errors.
- Pack items securely and prepare them for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring easy access to products.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisory staff promptly.
- Contribute to team efforts and support overall warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
