Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician for our Tampa, Florida facility. This role involves maintaining warehouse equipment, assisting with the installation and repair of warehouse systems, and ensuring the overall functionality and safety of our logistics operations. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce downtime. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems common in warehouse environments, along with a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including conveyor belts, sorters, and automated systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues affecting warehouse operations.
Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems.
Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and work areas.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and emergency calls.
Support the warehouse team in maintaining operational efficiency.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in equipment usage and maintenance.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician, ideally in a warehouse or logistics environment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Understanding of warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
Physical ability to perform tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various positions.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
