We are seeking a diligent Shipping & Receiving Associate in San Antonio, Texas, to manage the flow of goods in and out of our facility. This key role ensures that all shipments are accurately received, inspected, processed, and dispatched. You will be responsible for verifying incoming deliveries against purchase orders, preparing outgoing shipments, and maintaining organized receiving and shipping areas. Strong organizational skills and a meticulous approach to documentation are vital. This position involves considerable **Lifting**, moving, and handling of various products, making physical stamina a requirement. A comprehensive understanding of **logistics** and supply chain operations is beneficial. Our commitment to **safety** is paramount; therefore, strict adherence to all **safety** regulations and consistent use of **PPE** are mandatory for all team members. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.
- Verify incoming goods against invoices and purchase orders.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving dock.
- Track inventory and report any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company **safety** policies and wear required **PPE**.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations.
- Ability to handle **Lifting** and moving of heavy items.
- Knowledge of **logistics** and inventory management principles.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
