Our innovative Cincinnati, Ohio facility is seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician! This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including maintaining and repairing warehouse equipment, ensuring the functionality of conveyor systems, and assisting with general facility upkeep. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. You will be crucial in minimizing downtime and ensuring the smooth operation of our Logistics infrastructure. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety ; all technicians must follow strict guidelines and wear the appropriate PPE . This role may involve occasional heavy Lifting and working in various warehouse conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyor belts).
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to identify potential problems.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Ensure all safety systems and equipment are functioning correctly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety regulations and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate PPE for all maintenance and repair tasks.
- Collaborate with the operations team to address equipment needs and ensure minimal disruption to Logistics flow.
- Perform tasks that may involve occasional heavy Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Keep the maintenance area clean and organized.
- Stay updated on best practices in warehouse equipment maintenance and repair.
