Our Columbus, Ohio warehouse is looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will ensure that products are moved safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse. This position requires prior forklift operating experience, a valid certification, and the ability to perform tasks that may include occasional heavy Lifting . We maintain a strong focus on Safety , and all operators must strictly adhere to operational guidelines and wear the necessary PPE . Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Transport goods to and from designated storage areas.
- Stack and retrieve products from shelves and racking systems.
- Perform routine checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear required PPE , including safety shoes and high-visibility clothing.
- Contribute to the efficiency of warehouse Logistics .
- Ability to perform Lifting of up to 50 lbs when not operating equipment.
- Follow all traffic and safety rules within the warehouse premises.
