We are seeking a diligent Inventory Clerk to join our bustling warehouse operations in Chicago, Illinois. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the efficient flow of goods. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for managing stock levels, conducting cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and assisting with inventory audits. Your attention to detail will be key to our **logistics** success. We are committed to maintaining a **safe** workplace, and adherence to all **safety** procedures and the use of **PPE** is mandatory. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and a strong understanding of inventory management principles. Primary responsibilities include:
- Performing regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Maintaining accurate inventory data in our WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Assisting with incoming and outgoing inventory movements.
- Supporting physical inventory counts and audits.
- Identifying and reporting any issues affecting inventory accuracy or **safety**.
- Ensuring all **PPE** is worn correctly and **safety** protocols are followed at all times.
