We are hiring an Order Picker to join our dedicated team at our Dallas, Texas distribution center. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, directly impacting our logistics success. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves according to pick lists, ensuring quality and quantity match the order. The ideal candidate is attentive to detail, works efficiently, and is committed to upholding our high standards of Safety and accuracy. You will be an integral part of our warehouse operations, working within a collaborative team environment. We require strict adherence to all Safety guidelines and the correct use of PPE. This role involves significant physical activity, including regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs, and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Verify product identification and quantity accuracy before moving items.
- Use RF scanners to record pick data and update inventory.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and properly utilize all required PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment targets.
- Understand and follow all logistics procedures related to order picking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse picking role is preferred.
- Ability to perform significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and basic warehouse operations.
- Understanding of logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand/walk for long periods.
