Join our energetic team as a Picker/Packer in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is essential for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for picking items from inventory based on order tickets, carefully packing them for shipment, and ensuring that all orders are prepared correctly. Maintaining a fast-paced and organized work environment, while adhering to strict safety standards, is paramount. Your attention to detail and efficiency will directly contribute to the success of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order lists.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain organized work stations and ensure all equipment is stored properly.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure inventory accuracy in picking and packing areas.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support the logistics team.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment focused on logistics excellence.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a picking/packing or warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Commitment to safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse logistics.
