Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Inventory Control Specialist for our Philadelphia facility. This position is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels, and minimizing discrepancies. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting audits, and analyzing data to improve operational efficiency within our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop, refine, and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory receipts, put-away, picking, and shipping processes to maintain accuracy.
  • Utilize WMS (Warehouse Management System) to track inventory movements and status.
  • Monitor stock rotation, expiration dates, and product quality.
  • Generate reports on inventory accuracy, stock levels, and inventory turns for management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Ensure the warehouse is organized and materials are stored correctly and safely.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including Lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of best practices in inventory management and logistics.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.
