We are seeking enthusiastic Distribution Center Associates to join our growing team in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is key to ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our logistics network. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in a wide range of warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, packing, and shipping. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with a strong work ethic, a commitment to Safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You'll play an important part in delivering products to our customers and upholding our high standards of operational excellence within the logistics sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Stock received goods in their designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick items accurately from inventory based on customer orders or production needs.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions precisely.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic familiarity with Logistics concepts is beneficial.
- Must be comfortable wearing required PPE.
