Job Summary:
Our Fort Worth, Texas location is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our warehouse inventory. This critical role supports our overall logistics operations by maintaining precise records, minimizing discrepancies, and optimizing stock levels. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of inventory management principles, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. You will work closely with various departments to track, audit, and manage inventory effectively. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventories accurately and consistently.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Maintain the integrity of inventory data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels, identify potential shortages or overages, and report findings.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
  • Ensure proper organization and storage of all inventory items to prevent damage or loss.
  • Generate regular inventory reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to streamline inventory processes.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with the physical movement of inventory when necessary, employing safe Lifting techniques.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related logistics role.
  • Proficiency in using WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate physical exertion, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable wearing required PPE.
