We are looking for diligent Order Pickers to join our energetic warehouse team in Columbus, Ohio. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong attention to detail to ensure that customer orders are picked correctly and prepared for shipment. You will be working in a fast-paced logistics environment where your ability to meet targets and maintain quality is essential. Your role is fundamental to our customer satisfaction and the seamless operation of our distribution center. Safety is a top priority for us.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using order sheets or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking area and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as required.
- Participate in inventory checks and audits.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet performance standards in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
