We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory accuracy and integrity within our Fort Worth, Texas logistics facility. This role is essential for maintaining optimal stock levels, minimizing discrepancies, and ensuring the efficiency of our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for conducting regular inventory audits, investigating discrepancies, implementing corrective actions, and managing inventory data. A strong analytical mindset and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics are key. Your goal will be to uphold the highest standards of inventory accuracy, which directly impacts our operational efficiency and financial performance. Responsibilities:
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories accurately and efficiently.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Manage and update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and report on inventory accuracy, aging, and turnover.
- Coordinate with warehouse operations to ensure proper receiving, put-away, and picking processes.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements related to inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds for inventory checks.
- Understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
