We are seeking an Order Picker to join our growing team in Durham, North Carolina. In this role, you will be instrumental in accurately fulfilling customer orders by retrieving specified items from our warehouse inventory. This position is vital to our logistics chain, demanding efficiency, precision, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications, utilizing RF scanners.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details to minimize errors.
- Stage picked items for the packing and shipping departments.
- Assist with receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming inventory.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts and assist with maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks and other necessary warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE , ensuring personal and team safety.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics operations.
- This role requires consistent physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Prior warehouse experience, particularly as an Order Picker, is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Capacity to work efficiently and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform lifting duties throughout the shift.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
