We are hiring a certified Forklift Operator for our busy distribution center in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials within the warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks, stocking inventory, and retrieving items for orders. Your role is essential to the smooth flow of our logistics operations. We are dedicated to maintaining a secure and productive work environment, emphasizing rigorous adherence to safety standards and the mandatory use of PPE . This position requires precision, alertness, and a strong commitment to preventing accidents. The role involves significant physical activity and requires the ability to perform lifting .
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Retrieve and stage materials for order picking and shipping.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and use all required PPE correctly.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Support the efficiency of our logistics processes through reliable operation.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Forklift Operator certification (e.g., OSHA compliant). Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment. Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs). Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles. Excellent attention to detail and awareness of surroundings. Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE . Must be reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
