Seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our busy logistics hub in Denver, Colorado. This position is critical for maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing the movement and organization of materials. You will be responsible for receiving, staging, and distributing supplies and products efficiently and safely. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and inventory.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Organize and store materials in appropriate warehouse locations, ensuring accessibility and proper rotation.
- Stage materials for production or shipping departments.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and proficiently (certification and training provided if necessary).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all established protocols.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment issues.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, emphasizing safety and proper handling techniques.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is a strong asset.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs frequently and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management systems is a plus.
