Our busy logistics facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our team! In this essential role, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing the movement and storage of goods. Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. You'll be working with a diverse range of products and will play a vital part in ensuring our supply chain runs seamlessly. Responsibilities:
- Assist with unloading incoming shipments and verifying product counts against manifests.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas using pallet jacks or other equipment.
- Accurately pick items from shelves according to order sheets or scanner instructions.
- Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring they are protected from damage.
- Prepare orders for delivery, ensuring all labels and documentation are correct.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as stock checks and cycle counts.
- Operate various hand tools and warehouse machinery safely.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational targets and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labor role is beneficial.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and maintain an active schedule.
- Capacity for lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Commitment to upholding high standards of safety and quality.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE, such as safety vests, gloves, and eye protection.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance are crucial.
