Our New York City, New York warehouse is looking for a dependable Warehouse Worker to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep our logistics operations running smoothly, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and work areas.
- Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed.
- Support overall logistics and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- Capability for lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in task completion.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and basic logistics.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
