We are looking for a reliable and energetic Order Picker to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is central to fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring that all orders are complete and correct. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work. Your contribution is vital to our logistics operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or scanner.
- Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Transport picked items to the shipping area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and adhere to all safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Wear appropriate PPE, such as safety shoes and gloves.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures and logistics.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
