We have an immediate opening for an experienced Forklift Operator in our Boise, Idaho warehouse. This position is vital to our daily logistics and warehouse operations. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently and safely.
- Transport inventory between different areas of the warehouse.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Ensure accurate placement and organization of inventory.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as order picking or packing.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Contribute to team efforts and support overall logistics goals.
- Must be able to handle lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification is required.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and scanning equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to perform warehouse tasks, including lifting.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
