Our bustling warehouse in Orlando, Florida, is looking for a hardworking and reliable Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the movement and organization of goods within our facility. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, and ensuring that materials are stored correctly and efficiently. This is a physically demanding role that requires stamina and the ability to perform heavy Lifting on a regular basis. We are committed to maintaining a safe work environment and require all employees to strictly follow all Safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE . Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and trailers.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Moving materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Stocking and organizing inventory according to warehouse procedures.
- Assisting with inventory counts and checks as needed.
- Ensuring that all materials are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Adhering to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wearing required PPE at all times.
- Supporting the overall Logistics operations of the warehouse.
- Performing tasks that involve significant Lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Basic equipment maintenance checks.
