Our dynamic logistics company is seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management systems. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining optimal stock levels. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to minimize losses and errors. This position offers a competitive hourly wage and the opportunity to grow within a fast-paced warehouse environment. We prioritize a safe working atmosphere, and all team members are required to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting may be required. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure data accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
- Implement and adhere to inventory control policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations teams to improve inventory accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items.
- Report on inventory status and trends to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Utilize provided PPE for all tasks.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and Logistics flow.
- Must be capable of Lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted.
