Our Fort Worth, Texas facility is seeking experienced and safety-minded Forklift Operators to join our robust logistics team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and organize inventory within our distribution center. This role is essential for maintaining smooth operations, from receiving goods to preparing them for shipment. Safety is paramount, and we require strict adherence to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE at all times. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations, excellent spatial awareness, and a proven track record of safe forklift operation. You will work closely with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods. - Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from various locations within the warehouse, including staging and storage areas.
- Perform daily pre-operational checks on equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock put-away.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals.
- Support shipping and receiving departments as required.
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of forklift operation experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA compliance.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting items up to 60 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety.
- Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.
