Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and stage materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials in designated locations.
- Transport materials to and from production areas or shipping docks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of materials handled.
- Ensure all materials are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from obstructions.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Support logistics operations by ensuring timely material availability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform substantial Lifting, regularly up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Familiarity with inventory control and logistics principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be reliable and able to work assigned shifts.
