You will be responsible for training, mentoring, and motivating your team, as well as overseeing daily tasks such as inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse best practices. You must ensure compliance with all company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE and adherence to safety regulations. This position may involve occasional Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Your leadership will directly impact productivity, team morale, and the overall success of our warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.
- Ensure efficient order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Oversee receiving and put-away of incoming inventory.
- Manage inventory accuracy and conduct cycle counts.
- Implement and enforce all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all team members.
- Monitor productivity and identify areas for improvement in logistics operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage team schedules and workflow to meet operational demands.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety and hazard recognition.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Experience with inventory control and management.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
